Francis Alcantara

FrancisFor Francis, a.k.a. France, it’s the recurring theme that is woven throughout the seasons of a new life in Christ.  Almost 13 years ago, the Lord bestowed grace upon a broken man, and began teaching the art of surrendering all to a living God.

With 6 years of experience with his college acapella group, France quickly took to gospel music after surrendering his life to Jesus.  He served on the worship team at the Rock Church for 3 years.  He also toured with a gospel production of Handel’s Messiah for 4 years.  In 2009, he co-founded the gospel ensemble Soulever.  He has been serving on the worship team at San Diego Bible Church for the past 8 years.

With a degree in Psychology at UCLA, he is working on an accreditation as a biblical counselor.

France currently resides in San Diego, where he is an avid real estate investor.

Chris Loucks

Chris Loucks 2011Chris was been blessed to be born into a Christian family.  At very young age he accepted Jesus as his savior.  He was a Sunday school kid through elementary, then once Chris hit middle school and beyond, he began to fall away from his walk with the Lord.  Chris found himself getting more involved with the world, and not going to church.

Praise God, he never got involved with illegal activities, such as drugs or gangs, despite growing up in an area where that was prevalent.  Chris’ escape from all of that was music.  He has been involved with music most of his life and has been playing drums/percussion since 4th grade.  Music was his way of staying off the streets.  Chris’ passion for music drove him to want to be a part of all kinds of different types of music.  He has played everything from classical concert band, to marching band, drumline, jazz and rock bands.

In 2007, Chris rededicated himself to the Lord, and he has been on a whirlwind of transforming his old ways to Christ’s ways.  Chris got involved with the worship team at San Diego Bible Church in 2008, and found the Lord using his musical talents to help lead people in worship.  Since this experience, the Lord has led him to help form this ministry, in order to help others like himself, who have a passion for music, and want to use their God given ability to glorify our heavenly Father.

Chris holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications from Cal State Fullerton, and he also holds a Masters Degree in Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University.

Chris resides in San Diego with his beautiful wife Nicole and two sons Elijah and Israel.  He works in sports public relations at a local university.
